Procrastination for sociology exam + anticipation for Tokyo Dome DVD = me making my own GazettE survey
I thought it would be fun to think up a concept and just have a go at it. So! Here we go:

.:22+ Favorite Moments:.
♔ First Song Moment / Moment of Discovery
GazettE pretty much stalked me. I had discovered Miyavi beforehand, looking up every song of his I could -- and as I was hunting him down, this band called "the GazettE" was following me around at every turn (in the comments, in the related videos, in Miyavi-centered fansites...). So, curiosity took over and I caved. Cassis was my first song, like many people have stated. There was no specific reason. I'm pretty sure I just clicked on the first GazettE-related thing I saw, haha. As soon as it was over, I remember thinking, feeling, "Wow. This is different." It was the first band, besides Miyavi, that felt passionate to me. So, after sitting in total awe, I grappled onto the very next song in the list of "related videos". It happened to be their most recent single. Before I Decay. Talk about total opposites. And I think that's what hooked me in the end. They were a band that could be soft and gentle, but still able to snap back and growl.
♔ Favorite Song Moment
Baretta seemed to be my all-time favorite song for a good while, but lately I've grown to adore Carry?. What really swept me away, both on the CD and (especially) played live, was Ruki's vocals near the end on the lyric: Goodbye, dearest. It literally gives me chills, the way his voice breaks.

→ Aoi: Sugar Pain
♔ Engrish-Lyric Moment
"It is good as orange rotted" -- COCKROACH
And, of course, we can't forget the infamous "It is cheesed with power" -- but I think that one's a given :P

LEECH. I just love the whole thing -- maybe because I'm such a sucker for black-and-white. My favorite moment is probably these two lovelies:

→ Aoi *ahem* manhandling his guitar...
→ Uruha pounding on Kai's drums -- his face was literally like 8D

I personally love the voice-effects in the chorus, so I always feel a little disappointed when they're left out in a live

I'm going to have to go with Ruki & Uruha's little moment during NLSB I when Uruha snuck up behind Ruki and caused a ruckus :P
♔ Favorite "Insider" Moment (ex: Ruki-hip-thrust, N&S huddle-up)

♔ Favorite Style-Monster Moment
→ Ruki: I personally LOVE his mop-hair a la LEECH. The messiness was awesome, especially when paired with those enormous sunglasses... The messy-hair-glasses encore look in the DIM Live was also lovely.
→ Uruha: I love his solo black-and-white photo shoot look when he had black hair and dark make-up. I think that's why I'm totally twitterpated with his Lucy/Abyss look right now -- he really needs to dye his hair black more often <3
→ Aoi: RCE. RCE. RCE. I just love this man with long black hair, that blazer and that shirt that rode up so we could have a little peek of that stomach... fffffff--
→ Reita: Leech-era <33

Uruha imitating how he mimics his guitar phrases on stage -- in a surprisingly high voice... "Naa~"

♔ Moved-to-Tears Moment (if n/a: Took-Your-Breath-Away Moment)
Hearing DIM Scene live -- for some reason the beginning really gets to me when the guitars come in and start to swell in sound...
♔ 5 Favorite Moments Caught on Tape
- Uruha imitating his guitar's "wah-wah-wah" sound on stage (RCE Live)
- Aoi almost getting hit by a car as he was strolling around strumming his acoustic (NLSG)
- Uruha failing at making business cards (and spelling his name...)
- Ruki breaking the light during Ruder's PV filming -- and his look of horror as it happened.
- Uruha failing at jump-roping AND towel-throwing (39 DAYZ)

This was fun to do, haha. I really had to wrack my memory for a few of them... :P
