So! The last chapter of Violet Pulse is half-way written and will probably be posted next week sometime. It's hard to get time in to write it properly due to college exams and whatnot. But I'm determined to get it done with the care it deserves.
I don't know whether it's because the story's almost over or not, but two major plot bunnies came barging into my room the other day. They would both become multi-chapter stories and one of them I've already written the first chapter for. The other would probably be a longer story and it's in its chapter-outline stage now. I'm not really sure which one to focus on after the last chapter of Violet Pulse comes out.
So, if anyone on my flist is interested, please read the descriptions below and let me know what you want to see :)
**Story #1**
Title: Lion
Description: When Uruha said he'd like to go back to the more 'simpler' days of childhood, this wasn't what he had in mind.
Pairing: Reita/Uruha, Aoi/Ruki
Genre: fluff, mild crack, romance, drama, slight fantasy
Rating: PG-13
Preview from First Chapter: The strip-tease didn't go as well as he'd hoped. Rather than applause, he ended up with stained pants, 4500 yen in damage fees and a twisted ankle. Ruki pouted in the backseat of the cab he was sharing with Aoi, who had sobered up mighty quick when the shot glass Ruki had been using as a microphone slipped from his hand and towards his face.
Comments: The writing style will be much different than Violet Pulse. It'll be told in a traditional story format -- not vignettes. Oh, and there's age-regression. Yeah :3
**Story #2**
Title: Patchwork
Description: Reincarnation is a fickle business.
Pairing: Aoi/Ruki (perhaps more to come later)
Genre: Fantasy, romance, drama
Rating: R
Preview: [Since I haven't actually written anything for it yet, I'll give a more detailed synopsis]
Bands never die. But Ruki had never believed in reincarnation: once you croaked, you stayed dead. But Fate had a sick sense of humor apparently as he finds himself trapped in the embodiment of a doll in the distant future. Unable to move unless his owner "loves" him, Ruki has all but given up in trying to find his friends, if they had been reincarnated at all. He never stays animate for long; usually his owners are too frightened to keep "loving" him, and he reverts back before he even has a chance to really breathe. Deemed the "Bloody Doll" on account of the rumors of his vicious temper and "possessed" nature, he soon ends up in an antique shop, slowly collecting dust. Until a familiar face walks in.
Comments: Loosely based off of Lover's Doll -- but obviously has a bit more twists and turns in store, haha.
As you can see, I'm on a fantasy-kick right now. It's just a chance to explore a different genre. I've always enjoyed reading well-written fantasy in the fandom, but it's hard to come by with all the sparkly-vampire-nonsense. Maybe I'll write my own take on vampires and whatnot, but for now I need to unleash these two monsters first.
So, what would you like to see?
