Right now, I'm patiently (~~hurry up hurry up hurry up~~) waiting for my Tokyo Dome DVD to arrive at my campus. It's pretty frustrating since I had it sent to my house and it got there on April 6th and my father only sent it out to my campus mailbox today.

Gahhh, I should have gotten it delivered here! But for some reason I thought my school went on break around March 23rd so I was like "Why, how convenient! I'll just send it to my house and I'll take it back to university with me!". Nope. So now here I sit. Trying to avoid seeing the copious amounts of gifs of the live on tumblr as well as the screenshots while praying for Monday/Tuesday to come as swiftly as possible, haha.

It's pretty difficult to avoid gifs/screenshots when every other post on my dashboard is "GAZETTE TOKYO DOME YAY HAHAHAH". asdfghjkl!! I don't want to be spoiled! XDD

Anyways, I'm currently working on another oneshot that's more lighthearted in nature (again) so that'll probably be up sometime next week. Oh! And I know someone will probably beat me to the punch, but if anyone would like me to upload portions of the live or the "mysterious-making-of" 3rd disc, I'll be more than happy to do so. I'll definitely be posting a spastic update when I get the DVD, so I'll ask again then :D

I don't really post much about my daily, random life (I think this has become a fic & meme journal, haha) - not that much of you are probably interested, but I felt like posting something a little different today :D

Suffice to say I had an interesting weekend. Full of awesomeness, but definitely out-there. But I guess that's "normal" for any weekend that involves seeing Ke$ha in concert XDD

Ruki has overcome many obstacles in his life -- unsupportive parents, disownment because of his passion, etc. And despite all of that, he continued to strive towards his dream, his ambitions. When previous bands failed, he kept walking forward, pouring out each feeling into his lyrics. That's the biggest inspiration to me; to reach my dreams no matter the road ahead. He refuses to compromise his dreams, his visions, and still cares deeply for his fans. And with the recent tragedy of the 2011 Earthquake/Tsunami, I've gained that much more respect for him as he continues to retweet information regarding safety measures, etc.

Anyhoo, I went with Shou because his Final Fantasy collection must be impressive in person (even for someone like me who has never played the games) and he seems like he'd be a lovely host :3

Goodness, I'm always told (sometimes by complete strangers) that I look like her -- not to mention my friends say I have Fey-esque humor XD I think it's mostly to do with my glasses...
I deeply respect and admire this woman though, so I'm honored to be compared to her at times (and would jizz my pants if she played me in a nonexistent movie about my humdrum life :D)

This man. Intelligent, witty, sarcastic, reliable, sane. When I was in the audience for a taping of his show, I saw how he was such a humble, honest guy that played around with the audience and truly cared about our opinions. In a world so wrought with two-faces, Jon Stewart really gives me hope. Love him <3

Gah, this band is so beautiful - once I heard "Marvelous Things" I was hooked in so deeply. It's weird how everyone I talk to has never heard of them (though they are steadily becoming a presence on Tumblr if you know where to look). Seriously, check them out if you'd like to try out some softer, dreamier music that is a tad haunting. The vocals are especially amazing... Their new album The Valley is out today (nice timing haha) too, so go! Listen! :D

He would teach me the wonderful world of video games (never had a console growing up) and I'd teach him the wonderful world of not keeping your keys on a literal thread in your wallet. Then we can go jogging and end up finishing off a Moet Chandon together in celebration of a successful run XD

Other than that. He really does seem like a cool, mellow guy with a quirky sense of humor and a surprisingly deep sense of self.

I am not a fan of Disney nowadays, but this girl right here was, and still is, a beautiful role model. Not to mention she was hilarious. Her acting was real, authentic and heartwarming and it was so nice to see a woman with curves take the spotlight and own herself. The Disney-of-today should take notes.

Ahh, I love him. He was my favorite member of Skins - the perfect combination of hilarity and, as seen here, sultriness. Although they didn't showcase the latter too much on Skins... But anyways! I think he'd be a great sport about the kiss, crack a few jokes to distill the nerves, and be a gentlemen throughout the whole thing. Plus, he has the potential to be absolutely ravishing XD
